There are five possibilities to join 'Walk for Homs' and it is possible to attend the special service on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 and Sunday, April 10, 2022 in memory of Frans van der Lugt and to reflect on all the people in Syria who desperately need our help.
1. The pilgrimage (2022)
In six days from 5 to 10 April 2022, I will walk with 84 other people from Amsterdam to 's-Hertogenbosch in the Nederlands, a pilgrimage of 145 kilometers. To reflect on the death and 84th birthday of Frans as well as all the people in Syria who desperately need our help.

2. Join the first stage (2022)
On Tuesday April 5, 2022, it is possible to join the first stage of the pilgrimage. After the special service in the Obrechtkerk (church) in Amsterdam, in memory of Frans and to reflect on the people in Syria, we will start the first stage towards ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

3. Join the last stage (2022)
On Sunday April 10, 2022, it is possible to join us on the last stage of the pilgrimage. We will start at 10 am from Heusden to arrive around 4 pm at the Sint Jans Cathedral in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. There we will be welcomed by the Bishop of 's-Hertogenbosch. He will dedicate the special service in memory of Frans and to reflect on all the people in Syria who desperately need our help.

4. Your own pilgrimage to 's-Hertogenbosch (2022)
Walk from your hometown on your own pilgrimage towards' s-Hertogenbosch ending on Sunday April 10, 2022. To join us there to attend the special service in memory of Frans and to reflect on the people of Syria.

5. Walk yourself (2021-2022)
It is not yet possible to organize a pilgrimage, but walking yourself and / or with a friend is of course allowed. Therefore, walk along until Sunday 10 April 2022 when it suits you. You can walk as often as you want and you determine the location and distance every time you step out of your door. Anyone can participate.
